Michelle designed this mat so she can work on pose and posture symmetry - AKA the art of balance. It reminds her to adjust and modify for her body during poses that arn't modeled quite for her particular body by using the lines and shapes as a guide; it helps her track her progress. This mat reminds Michelle that even tho things can be very black, white and even in her world, there is an entire spectrum of unlimited possibilities.
